We are investigating an issue where https://nearpod.com is slow in responding to requests.
Application users (who use app.nearpod.com) are unaffected.

We will be performing some system maintenance on Time to Climb on May 2 from 9-10 pm ET.
We anticipate a few minutes of downtime, during which joining a Time to Climb Activity, or saving/editing Time to Climb activities in lessons may be unavailable.
All other areas of Nearpod will be available during this time.
Update 05/02 10 pm ET: This system maintenance is complete.
We are experiencing longer than desired response times while loading the lesson library. We are deploying expanded caching servers which will reduce the request times back to normal.
We are investigating issues reported where students cannot join a new class when logging in with Google or Office 365. This issue is isolated to users of iOS 12 and MacOS 10.14 .
We will deploy a fix shortly that should resolve these issues.
